• What is the lifetime of a tool ?

The lifetime of each tool is managed statistically. CircuitPro registers the distances and once the maximum distance is reached it indicates to the user that the tool needs to be replaced. The maximum distance of wear of a tool is variable and depends of the type of tool and of the material processed.

  • How can I know which tool I should use?

The user enters the tools available in the software and it relies on the entered data to calculate the tool paths. If a tool isn’t present within the ones that have been set as available, you can ask the software to calculate without this tool or the machine can ask you by which tool you’d like to replace the missing tool.

  • How much does a tool cost?

  • Why exchange a worn tool?
